I moved in late November and was very hesitant because of all these bad reviews. I must admit I am an owner not a tenant (signed contract before reading this site) so I don't have to deal with Oaks management too often. I have found the place to be great - don't wait long for lifts, staff are polite, always visitors carparks etc. Only problem is twice they have had the lap pool out for 2 days - which is a pain. And the place could use a spa! But compared to friends of mine who rent and buy elsewhere this place is really good!

Oh to be treated as a second Class Citzen I would have to agree in all of my years of Renting this is the worst possible experience I have had. Property Management have no regard for Paying Tennants at all,I have not been able to cook on my stovetop the whole time I have been there as they will not get the exhaust fan fixed. It is a joke. I asked for 12mth lease and got a 6 - then got a letter to leave as they where turning the whole property into Serviced Apart. They promised to lease out my Car Park in 6 mths I have recieved 6 weeks Car park Money - so where did the rest go????? The Front Door was badly damaged by the people who put in the Blinds - not once have they come to repair it or even look at it. They informed a property that I was trying to get a lease on that I was 32 days in arrears - that was the first I have ever heard of it.Rent was paid on the same day every month. They are a joke.

Charlotte Towers was at first the best place I could ever dream of living. HOW WRONG WAS I!? The walls fell apart, cracking due to expansion, barely touching them left dents and marks. The management treated us like crap. Not respect whatsoever. We were promised a lease extention, which did not happen. It took them 18 days to repay our bond after I demanded a signature on the refund form. There was constant troubles with garbage disposal, lifts breaking down (walked down from level 41 three times, and got stuck in elevator for 40 minutes on ANZAC day), and of course, like everyone else, we were thrown out with bogus bill for air con we had not used. What horrible horrible place!

I have rented for 18 years and I can tell you this is the WORST property I have ever rented du to the total incompetance of the people they have running the rentals department. I move out over two weeks ago and I am STILL waiting for them to sign my bond back to me. When I call them I just get the run around, as I have everytime I tried to contact them about something. DO NOT BUY HERE, DO NOT RENT HERE, go elsewhere.

Very luck to have a 12 months lease. Really close to everything. One of the best location in the CBD to live. Only a 3 minutes walk to Myer center and Queen street mall.

Felix, Festival, 212 on Margaret, Quay West have all become a hotel style living. Charlotte Towers will be soon. Have not heard complains from the above apartments . All complains towards Charlotte Towers came from tenants who were forced to move out. Honestly it is a good place to stay if you can get a 12 months lease.

I have the feeling that the add of 26-10 is the OAKS manager of the building. This place is NOT better now. It became a hotel, drunk guest all night, MORE party and security??? At least before I knew my neighbors!!! Now anyone can just walk in, people come and go all the time! and the service?? Hello!!!!???? The girls downstairs are useless and they send everybody at River City and they never know anything. Nothing works, the gym and the lap pool are often broken, lately the mechanical ventilation in the gym is broken, same temperature as the sauna! And if the hot0el guests hope to use this equipments, better be in holiday because it closes 10pm to 6 am, so no gym after work or early in the morning! Investment??? I heard of owners that became short term and they are already complaining for the increase of the fee for managing that became higher and higher, more problems, the cleaning of the apartments. And why would people come here as hotel when the Hilton is aroun

Great place to live. Walk to everything. Now it becomes a Hotel living style, more service, more secure, more potential for investment and most importantly, less PARTY!

This was the worst rental experience ever. The management blatant disregard for tenants is apalling. I sure hope owner-occupiers get better treatment for the money they paid. The last 6 months have been no end of trouble, waiting weeks for responses to problems;faulty fire alarm systems; sketchy hot water supply; and facilities not being maintained. I can't imagine this is going to get any better once it turns into a partial hotel.

Now it is becoming short term, noisy people all over the place. The manager moved to another tower. No one helping the residents with their problems. I am moving out even if I can stay. The worst residential experience ever!!

Disaster Area, DO NOT BUY/LIVE in ANY OAKS building. Any post that says this place is ok is either OAKS, Management or an owner trying to sell as no one will buy in this pathetic excuse for inner city living.

Everything breaks, waiting 4 months to have things fixed, not as advertised, management is a joke, they walk into your unit whenever they feel like it. do not live here!!!

Management more than useless and now they are terminating ALL the lease to change the tower into hotel, full of tourists and noise. Lift broken, Management very rude, Spa that doesn't exist. A tragedy. Click here

Problems all over the place from basement flooding and lifts breaking down and no one wants to take responsibility and fix the problems. Managemnet is a joke.
