The management who run this joint is a joke. I have had so man problems with Nigel and Karen. They are unhelpful and a nightmare to deal with. They are only nice to owners and if your a renter they want nothing to do with you especially if you dont rent with them. The security guard can be found on weekends out the front of the building having a smoke and reading magazines. A good place for short term rentals only.

Great location, Great views, poor management- rude and un friendly. Parking is awful with not enough visitor spaces and certain cars getting towed when others stay their all night. Hot water would stop without a warning, always plumbing problems, and fire alarms going off over nothing.

Although the building itself is good, with a great location and interior. The Management are less then impressive. They have no compassion, or sympathy for anyone staying here, They are rude, unfriendly and difficult to talk to. If it wasn't for the location and convenience I would have moved a long time ago. The way they talk to tenants is disgusting and the way they handle situations is poor. Although the Building Manager lives on site they are never there when needed. We had noisy neighbors and had no HELP what so ever from the management here that the police had to be called and had to deal with the situation. We have people in the building that throw cigarettes off the balcony nearly sparking a fire in our apartment and again there was nothing they could do about it. I feel personally attacked how they have treated me and my family. They are disgusting and after talking to other tenants i feel that their behavior as management is being noticed by all and we only have negative things to say about the secu

This is a modern well managed building in a top absolute riverfront location with stunning views down river to the Story Bridge and beyond and up river to the CBD and gardens. I own a unit and tenants snap it up. Look forward to using it myself. Great location walking to distance to city, valley, shops, transport, ferries.

I have lived here for 5 years. Its the best apartment complex on the river in the CBD. I'm on the 27 floor in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with the largest balcony I could find on the river in the CBD....34sqm, plenty of room for the BBQ and the best views of the Brisbane Skyline and out to Moreton Bay. I have never had a problem with noise, there has never been a power cut, I have never had a problem with plumbing. I never hear anyone and find the apartment very private. No one is looking into my apartment, they cant, not even my next door neighbour. Very private. I would not live anywhere else in Brisbane!

I dont know what that reviewer is on but we have lived in River Place for over 5 years and cant say I have any issue. We live in a 3 bedder and apart from the lift being busy at around 8.15am weekly its very good. I was presently suprised - hence our long term occupation. 3 of those years with teenages at home as well.

I own a studio with car park which I look forward to using in retirement but currently have it rented out. At 61 sq m, it is roomy for a studio and the bedroom screens off from the living area for privacy. The layout is convenient, and the views of the river, CBD and Story Bridge are to die for. River Place presents very well and based on my building inspection, it is of a high standard without being over the top. The building seems well maintained, the common areas and facilities are very clean and attractive, visitor is parking policed, and security arrangements tight. Access direct from the building to the river boardwalk is awesome. Very happy with my purchase.

That last review sounds like someone who works at river place. It's quite an inaccurate description. I lived here for a year and although it's better than Aurora, I still found it pretty average overall. I found the price paid for rent was VERY excessive for the quality of the building. Yes the foyer is beautifully designed and the facilities, security and location is great, but you get a lot of noise and filth from the Story Bridge. The apartments are not nice at all, in fact many have a horrible cheap hotel-style blue coloured carpet, which unfortunately match no furniture available on planet earth. Weird yellowish colours inside and the worst feature of the building is the amount of people with wooden floors (this is REALLY annoying when you live below one). Lights would fall out of the ceiling for no reason, air con was pathetic (not ducted). Balconys are small too. All in true Devine style it seems from reading the various reviews on this site of other Devine buildings (River shitty, Festy Towers etc)

Top spot, great river views, away from main road so quiet, 10 min walk to Central or Brunswick St stations on line to airport, walk to shops.

Not sure which river place the other reviewer was living in! The security here is excellent, with video cameras at numerous locations on common property. Security tags are required to gain access to the building and residents are only permitted to access their own floor. The entrance foyer is impressive and kept spotlessly clean. Outside, there is a 2 x bbq area that can be hired (free of charge) with excellent views over the river and city. There is a full sized lap-pool (one lane wide) and also a spa. Inside on the ground floor, a gym and a sauna are available for use. There is a small library area and also, a billiards room on level 1. Parking is great, with adequate visitors spaces with stays limited to 4hrs. Most apartments have their own private car-space, and the basement plan is pretty spacious in comparison to other buildings. Not a great building. The physical construction is very poor - despite being only a few years old, it is falling apart. Power cuts and plumbing problems are frequent. Many residents are renters and there isn't much sense of community.

Lived here for a few years now. Close to everything, Im only renting, but will buy a place soon. I love it that much. Nice unit, the build quality is average. Allow a little extra to fix small problems.
